Ascentis is a successful company, which prides itself on customer service and is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Operations team.

 

Your main duties will involve assisting with financial administration, and the administration of applications from centres to deliver Ascentis qualifications.

 

Ascentis is an established National Awarding Body recognised by Ofqual and an established Access Validating Agency recognised by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education.  Ascentis is based in Lancaster, a historic, vibrant university city, rich in cultural heritage and within easy reach of the motorway.

Ascentis are looking for enthusiastic dedicated professionals to join their External Moderation team in the following areas:

  • Construction  – in particular to cover the following regions: South East; South West
  • Teacher Training  – in particular to cover the following regions: South East; South West
  • Languages – Polish, Arabic, Urdu, Italian
  • Community Interpreting
  • Learning Support

As a minimum, External Moderators should be specialists in their field, hold a teaching qualification or equivalent and have experience of internal and / or external moderation.
