Funding

The LSC has confirmed to OCNW that the Functional Skills qualifications will be funded at the same rate as Key Skills. At Entry Level Functional Skills will be funded at the same rate as Level 1 Key Skills. Full details of the funding rates are now available from the LSC Learning Aims Database.

It has also been confirmed that a Functional Skills qualification in English or Maths will contribute towards literacy or numeracy Skills for Life 2010 targets for centres.
