| Summary |
This Entry Level Certificate in Art is intended to encourage and support people in gaining the introductory art skills necessary for progression to level 1 in a range of craft areas. The qualification aims to help learners develop a skill-based approach to art which gives focus to the mastery of transferable skills while allowing the tutor and learner together to select the most appropriate topics to demonstrate these skills. |
| Assessment |
All units are assessed internally through the build up of a portfolio of evidence. To gain a unit certificate all the assessment criteria within the “What you need to do” section of the unit must be achieved. For the full award, learners must satisfy all the criteria for the five mandatory units. Internal and external moderation by OCNW are a requirement for the full award.
