Target Group This qualification is aimed at young people aged 14+ and adults who have an interest in the catering and food sector as an area of employment and want to develop practical skills in this area.
Summary

The OCNW Certificate in Catering and Healthy Eating at Entry 2 and Entry 3 gives the learner an introduction to catering which will help them make the decision about whether to undertake further training or employment in food related work. It will also give them a practical introduction to the activities that food related work involves which will be useful should they find employment in this area.

Assessment

All units are assessed internally through the build up of a portfolio of evidence. To gain a unit certificate all assessment criteria within the “What you need to do” section of the unit must be achieved. Internal and external moderation are a requirement for all units making up the full award.
